Hey, How did you summer go?  

i had long thoughts about if I wanted to continue or not this blog those past few months...

Some of you might already know it,  about a year ago i started working as a freelance graphic designer for for Levi Strauss kids Europe. I absolutely adore working for that brand, i met amazing people and learned a lot since i started there!

Some of the first designs i made for them just came out for this summer.. 

I am totally excited to see them in stores!

Hey i'm back!

Hello all!
I hope you had a merry and bright holiday! Mine was great, I took a little break from the world leaving computer & wacom at home and turning off my cellphone..and it felt good! I enjoyed spending sone times with my family in the Alps. Now I am back for more work, drawing and other creative experiences... This is my first blog post from my new Applebaby, my iPad...hope it works!

J'espère que vous avez tous passé de bones fêtes de fin d'annee! Pour ma part, je suis partie quelques temps dans les Alpes avec ma famille, en laissant derrière moi ordi et wacom et éteignant mon téléphone.. Ce petit break m'a fait beaucoup de bien. Désolée, je n'ai pas beaucoup le temps de poster quoi que ce soit en ce moment, j'ai un peu une vie qui va à 300 km/h et donc pas beaucoup de temps pour moi...

Mais en tout cas pour toutes les personnes se trouvant sur Paname ce week end, je remplace mon amie Marie-Laure-créatrice-extraordinaire, pour la vente de sa marque Jeanette Cloum à la Boutique éphémère du Marrais.

we didn't celebrate Halloween...

Even though we had two Pumpkins (that we forgot to carve) and that we love candies, we did not celebrate Halloween this year..However, i hope you guys had a great  horrifying week end!

Nous avions pourtant 2 citrouilles à sculpter à la maison et nous adorons les bonbons, nous n'avons pourtant pas célébré Halloween cette année..En même temps, il n'y pas grand monde en France qui le fête vraiment..J'espere que vous avez passé un bon week end cependant!

it's been a while...

Sorry for my lack of post guys, i've been a bit busy those past weeks.
But there are a few things i would like to share with you.
First i had the luck to participate to the Fashion Week Illustrée. It's a really cool concept, that consist of having some illustrators with very different styles giving their version of Fashion Designers styles during the Paris Fashion Week.  (is that clear enough?) Well, i am not sure i can really explain the concept very well so i invite you to look at what we have done!  (See Below)

Nous sommes deja mi octobre et j'avoue que je n'ai même pas vu l'été passer..
Il y a deux trois projets dont je voulais vous parler cependant.
J'ai eu la chance de participer à La Fashion Week Illustrée 4 aux coté de tres talentueux illustrateurs!
Mais ça je vous en avais parlé dans mon dernier post!

Thanks to this project, i had the opportunity to have my illustration exhibited at the Westin Hotel really gergeous place situated in the heart of Paris, between les Tuileries and la Place Vendôme. You can see an article talking about it here .  If you are around, it will be in display till Ocotober 28th =)

De ce projet à suivit la superbe opportunité d'avoir cette illustration exposée dans l'Hotel Westin, à deux pas de la place Vendôme et des Tuileries. Superbe lieu, j'avoue j'étais un peu toute "zému". Merci beaucoup  Amylee et The ManagUer pour cette super soirée-opportunité. Merci aussi à Repro-tableaux.com ainsi qu'à L'Hotel Westin.

Finally, I am a part of another exhibit here in Paris (48 rue d'Orsel in the 18th District) where i illustrated the King, Queen and Jack of Diamonds . It will be displayed till November 27th.

Aussi, j'ai participé à l'exposition "Faites Vos Jeux", à la gallerie l'Art de Rien 48 rue d'Orsel dans le 18eme à Paris. Exposition jusqu'au 27 Novembre.

AAHHHH je peux enfin vous dévoiler un des projets auquel je participe! Je suis super honorée d'avoir été choisi pour participer à la Fashion Week Illustré #4 !!!! Pour l'instant je ne peux vous montrer mon illustration, il faudra être encore un petit peu patient! Mais si vous ne l'avez pas encore fait vous pouvez d’ores et déjà aller voir toutes les magnifiques illustrations des saisons précédentes sur le site!

I am really thrilled to be part of the Illustrated Fashion Week #4 that will take place from September 27th to October 5th.

So, what is the IFW #4 you're gonna ask me? Well, It's an online event where different illustratos have created visuals inspired by fashion designers.

dress crush

i found this dress online on the asos website recently and totally fell in love with it, i love the colors, the shape & the print..But it's NOT on sale yet!!! Well, at least it will give me time to think if i really need it or not..


il y a quelques jours J'ai trouvé par hasard sur le site asos cette jolie robe..J'ai tout de suite flashé dessus, J'adore les couleurs, l'imprimé et la forme! Seul souci, elle n'est pas encore en vente! Au moins, ça me laisse quelques temps pour reflechir si j'ai vraiment besoin d'une robe en plus...

Neon

A quick sketch i made while waiting for my files to upload (i had a VERY bad internet connection last week, that made me realize how much i NEED it!) It's very much inspired of the picture from Anthropologie (one of my fav' US store, in case you would not already have understood...)
Also, i realized that for a girl who liked to claim that she doesn't like Pink, i use it quite often...hehe


Un petit croquis fait en attendant que mes pieces jointes veuillent bien se charger...J'ai eu une tres mauvaise conection internet (voir inexistante) la semaine derniere (merci SFR! =/ )
Ce dessin est inspiré d'un des emails d'Anthropologie (un de mes magasins preferé aux US) .
J'ai aussi réalisé que j'utilise souvent du rose, logique pour une fille qui dit ne pas aimer cette couleur.....(non moi non plus je ne me comprends pas toujours..)

"Owl"

Owl is a word i can't really say correctly and my friends love to make fun of me for that..However love those birds!
This is a little embroidery i made for an illustration project and i didn't end up using...

so the other day...

...i dreamed we all had crazy colored hair but all that was totally natural..Like we would all be born with pink, teal, or even sparkly hair..I know it can sound very crazy but everything seemed a lot more joyful in my dream hehe

So yeah if i had to pick one color i think i would want my hair light pink...What would be yours?




I love playing with my hair, dying them, cutting them myself etc.. (i know i shouldnt..)
I think it all started when my mom forgot to cut my bang in 1st grade and i had to cut it myself in class because i couldn't see clearly... I can guaranty you that the result was not pretty but it open my mind to a lot of hair possibilities ;)

This week, i had the great opportunity to make a little Illustration for a french magazine called Paulette you can see the link here..(sorry it's in french though..) The article is about the parties you have when you leave your roommates (since it's summer some are moving away..)
and the different theme you can have for it..
Anyways, I had a lot of fun working on this illu!

petite ballade au bord de la mer

This quick illustration was inspired by a very cloudy-rainy week and by the fact that some of my neighbors are listening to very old french music..It makes me think i live in the 30's...& i kinda like it.

So, i randomly found this picture today and even if i have a lot of projects on the way this week, i decided to make a quick sketch with it..This is a window from the Coran Shop and i absolutely adore the colors combination of it! i just wish i could have an apartment that could look like that, & since my sofa is pretty much of that color already i am just missing the tree and the cherry blossom petals on the floor..hehe

i remember one of our teacher telling us that you could learn a lot about someone's personality through their favorite ice cream flavor.. One of my favorite is the chunky monkey from ben & Jerry's, i also love the strange ice cream flower flavored..

Anthropologie

This store used to be a little bit my second home when I was living in California. If you don't know it yet, it's a little bit the temple of colors and patterns. I love pretty much everything about it, the clothes, the mood, the window displays... Everything in it is just very creative and poetic and it's a very good place to hang out and get inspired.
Right now, there are summer sales in the european store (that only exist in the UK so far) and i'm really tempted to buy some clothes online.
So this is my little selection...

So, last week-end i spent three days in the Uk. I totally enjoyed this little trip and i totally hope i will be able to go back to the Uk pretty soon... (and why not to move there..) Brighton was really cute, a bit (=really) windy and rainy but oh well we dealt with it ^^
I hadn't spoken english for real in a very long time so i felt a bit rusty sometimes..I particularly loved their accent, and how even if they would curse at you they would sound nice and polite hehe (i'm just assuming coz they didn't do it to me...)








This is my version of the King Arthur...



We visited the Royal Pavilion in Brighton (see here) that was built for the King Georges IV. This place is totally surreal!!! Unfortunately, i didn't take any picture inside since it's strictly forbidden...But i can tell you that i never saw something that crazy before... (for a royal palace..)



During all the hours spent on the road (we got stuck in a 3-4hours traffic jam) we saw so many rabbits & lambs!! super cute!

Of course we went shopping, and we had some tea in a warm tiny cozy place while watching residents walking in shorts, flip flop & umbrella under the very heavy rain...Did I mentioned it rained? well, it's weird but i was not even annoyed by it, i guess it's the effect England has on me..

the new member of my mac family

So, this week, I went to a recording of a TV show , to a denim trend show, i got a big cold with fever (that i still kinda have..) AND i bought a NEW computer!!!! It has been a long time i wanted to buy an imac with a bigger screen and since my laptop is not going so well i decided that it was now or never..
It's been only a day but i'm already in love with it. It's kinda hard to use the french keyboard again though..
i need to find it a name! any suggestion?
